Finding Your Fit: Diverse Evaluation Options
To qualify for funding, you’ll need to pass one of their five unique evaluation types:
- 1-Step Evaluation: Ideal for active day traders with a focus on frequent entries and exits.
- End-of-Day Drawdown Evaluation: Prioritizes daily risk management while allowing for active trading.
- Fast Track Evaluation: Designed for confident traders who can achieve their goals quickly within a set timeframe.
- Static Drawdown Evaluation: A conservative approach emphasizing capital preservation for larger account sizes ($100,000 – $150,000).
- Diamond Hands Evaluation: Tailored specifically for swing traders who hold positions for extended periods and are aiming for a prestigious $100,000 account.
Straightforward Pricing Structure
Participation in these evaluations comes with a one-time fee. This fee starts at $75 for smaller accounts and increases to $745 for larger ones. Once you successfully qualify for a funded Elite
Account, there’s a flat monthly fee of $80,regardless of the account size or type you choose.
This clear pricing structure allows you to select the evaluation and account size that best suits your trading style and risk tolerance, with all the associated costs upfront
Elite Trader Funding understands the importance of getting comfortable with their platform before committing. That’s why they offer a generous 14-day free trial. This allows you to explore the platform’s functionalities, test your trading strategies, and assess if their service is a good fit for your needs.
Second Chances for Fast Track Evaluations:
The Fast Track Evaluation is designed for confident traders aiming to reach their profit target quickly. However, Elite Trader Funding acknowledges that unforeseen circumstances can arise.
If you don’t quite reach the target within the 14-day timeframe, your account receives a “free repeat.” This automatically converts it into a standard 1-Step Evaluation for the same account size. This provides a valuable second chance to showcase your skills and potentially qualify for funding.
The 1-Step Evaluation is ideal for fast-paced, day traders who enjoy frequent entries and exits. This challenge offers a good balance between risk and reward. Here’s what you need to know:
- Minimum Trading Days: You’ll need to trade for at least 5 days, but there’s no maximum, allowing you to take your time as long as you meet the other requirements.
- Risk Management: A trailing drawdown is in place to limit potential losses. This starts at 10% for the smallest account and becomes stricter (lower percentage) as the account size increases, reaching a minimum of 2.5% for the largest accounts.
- Profit Target: To qualify for funding, you’ll need to achieve a profit target that varies based on the account size. It starts at 12.5% for the smallest account and progressively decreases to as low as 6.67% for the largest accounts.
- Simple Qualification: Once you successfully complete this single step by reaching the profit target within the drawdown limits, you’ll be eligible for an Elite account with real capital.
You can apply for accounts between $50,000 and $250,000 with this challenge. It includes a daily loss cap in addition to the trailing drawdown, which is calculated at the conclusion of the day. The rules are as follows:
- Minimum trading day requirement of five days.
- No maximum trading day requirement, meaning you can take as much time as you need to complete the evaluation.
- Maximum daily loss of around 2.2% for the smallest account and 1.7% for the largest.
- Maximum trailing drawdown of 6% for the smallest account and 2.8% for the largest.
- Profit target starts at 7% for the smallest account and goes down to 6% for the largest.
As soon as you successfully complete the challenge’s single step, achieving the profit target while adhering to the rules, you’ll qualify for funding with an Elite account.
The Fast Track Evaluation is a perfect fit for confident traders who believe they can achieve success quickly. It caters a $100,000 and $250,000 accounts and emphasizes speed while maintaining risk management.
- Tight Timeframe: This challenge adds a time pressure element. You’ll have a maximum of 14 calendar days to reach the profit target. While there’s a minimum of 5 trading days, the emphasis is on achieving the goal swiftly.
- Drawdown Limits: Compared to the 1-Step Evaluation, the Fast Track Evaluation has tighter trailing drawdown restrictions. This starts at 3% for the smallest account and becomes stricter (lower percentage) for larger account, reaching a minimum of 2.6%.
- Profit Target Incentive: The profit target you need to achieve also incentivizes quick success. It starts at 8% for the smallest account and progressively decreases to as low as 6% for the largest account. This reward system encourages active trading while meeting the challenge’s time constraints.
By combining a compressed timeframe with stricter risk management and a tiered profit target system, the Fast Track Evaluation is designed for traders who excel in fast-paced environments.
The Static Drawdown Evaluation caters to conservative traders seeking larger accounts (between $100,000 and $150,000) and prioritizes capital preservation. This evaluation offers a unique risk management approach:
- Fixed Drawdown Limit: Unlike other evaluations with trailing drawdowns, this challenge has a static drawdown limit. This is essentially a minimum account balance threshold you cannot fall below. It starts at a very low percentage (between 0.6% and 0.8%) of your initial balance and increases slightly for larger accounts.
- Focus on Profit, Not Daily Losses: There are no restrictions on daily losses within reason. However, the focus is on achieving the profit target without exceeding the static drawdown limit. This rewards calculated risk-taking while prioritizing capital protection.
- Lower Profit Target: The profit target you need to achieve is also lower compared to other evaluations. It starts at 1.3% for the smallest account and increases to 2.6% for the largest. This reflects the conservative nature of the evaluation and the emphasis on protecting your initial capital.
If you’re a cautious trader prioritizing capital preservation while aiming for larger accounts, the Static Drawdown Evaluation might be the ideal choice for you.
The Diamond Hands Evaluation caters specifically to swing traders who excel at holding positions for extended periods. It offers a unique opportunity to qualify for a prestigious $100,000 account.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Focus on Patience: This evaluation is designed for swing traders comfortable with longer time horizons. There’s no maximum trading day requirement, allowing you to hold positions as long as your strategy dictates.
- Balanced Risk Management: While there’s no daily trailing drawdown, a 1.5% daily loss limit helps manage risk on individual trades. This encourages calculated entries and exits while providing flexibility for position management.
- Moderate Drawdown Tolerance: An end-of-day trailing drawdown of 3.5% is in place to safeguard your capital from excessive losses. This allows for some wiggle room within your overall strategy.
- Targeted Profitability: To qualify for funding, you’ll need to achieve a 5% profit target. This reward structure reflects the longer holding periods associated with swing trading.
If you’re a confident swing trader who thrives with a balance between calculated risk management and strategic position sizing, the Diamond Hands Evaluation could be your path to a well-funded swing trading account.
